Dan Richardson
Civillian Instructor - G3
Dan has been practicing martial arts since 1991 and first began his martial arts training in traditional Japanese styles whilst
at University, concentrating in Wado Ryu Karate, where he received his 1st dan, and Aikido. During this time Dan also trained in
various other Japanese styles including Shorinji Kempo and Nimpo Taijitsu. Since then Dan has also trainied in Muay Thai, Silat,
Escrima, Jeet Kune Do, Russian Martial Arts and Jui Jitsu.
Dan began his Krav Maga training under Steve Maycock of Krav Maga Birmingham in 2006 and he was immediately impressed with the
simplicity and reality of both the system and the training. Following extensive training and instruction under Steve Maycock Dan
then entered the Civillian Instructor Course where he was taught by Eyal Yanilov and the Global Instructor Team members Amnon
Darsa and Tamir Gilad. Upon completing his course Dan passed top of his group as a G2 Civillian Instructor.
