These seminars are open to members and non members alike and each one has a single topic as a focus. Throughout the course of the seminar the instructor will present various situations combined with the ideal solutions for the topic being addressed.
Topics include, but are not limited to: knife threat and attack, gun defences, stick threat and attack, third party protection, fighting multiple opponents and use of weapons of opportunity.

These weekend long courses are designed with those new to Krav Maga in mind. The course itself covers the first 3 months of basic Krav Maga knowledge. By the end of the weekend you will be have an understanding of striking and it's various ranges, defending punches, kicks, grabs, chokes and knife threats and attacks.
You will also have covered other aspects of self defence such as dealing with multiple opponents and working within a realistic environment.
Due to the nature of the course a minimum of 10 people are required in order to run the course. Due to this a non-refundable deposit
needs to be paid at least 1 month in advance of the course with the balance due on the day. In the event The Krav Academy
cancel the course or move it to a date you are unable to attend deposits will be repaid in full.

Krav Maga is a modern defensive tactics system designed for use on the street. Therefore it is important that we train in a realistic environment so that we are fully prepared. The Urban Tactical Weekend was designed with this aim in mind. Run across a Saturday and Sunday you will train in a variety of different environments including but not limited to, cars and car parks, streets and alleyways and close quarter scenarios such as corridors and stairwells.
The training will cover all aspects of Krav Maga including but not limited to: knife threats and attacks, stick threats and attacks, gun defences, third party protection, road rage and dealing with multiple opponents.
